CHILDREN HOMES:

ABOUT ORPHAN CHILDREN: There are many children who have lost both their father and mother or one of their parents, they are orphans, semi-orphans and many sweet children in the present world with no relatives who can take care of them, which makes the child’s mind developed and grown with depression and sorrow, this results most of the children as a grown anti-social activist.

ABOUT TRIBAL CHILDREN: The villages that are located at the top of a hill surrounded by jungles are specified as the tribal area or tribal village. There are no basic facilities like water, electricity, medicines and transport. The women in this village have to walk miles down the hill to bring water for their family. The boys in the village spend their time in herding cattle and have no opportunity to learn any basic skills. They don't know what a school is all about.

At present we run a Children's Home beside our Prayer Center at Krupa Nagar, Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Since the Children's Home is having less accommodation capacity, we don't have enough space to take in more children. There are thousands of children living in the tribal villages. In order to take in more children, we are praying and planning to construct a big building that will be specifically designated for this purpose. The children are sent to our L.H.C.M.C English Medium School, which is specially established for this particular purpose. At our Children's home the children are provided with a well balanced diet, clothing, school uniforms including shoes, special educational, medical care, spiritual nurture and opportunities for occasional field trips. Moral instructions, physical exercises and games are now a regular part of their daily lives. As of July 2005 we have sixty children in our Home. Almost all these children come from broken homes of the above stated tribal and remote villages. If these children are not cared for, they will become morally and spiritually bankrupt and destitute. At the CHILDREN'S HOME, we provide physical, intellectual and emotional care, thereby helping them to aim for a bright future in life. Our goal for these unreached, rejected and unloved tribal and orphan children is for them to gain self-esteem and to find a meaningful place in society. We direct our efforts toward this goal. We invite you to participate in the true riches of these beautiful children. Together, we can make a difference!

1. By introducing our ministry to your friends and relatives [If you know someone who might be of help in any way to the children, please suggest our site to them].

2. You can sponsor a child for US $30. Your money will be used for providing a child with education, food, clothing and spiritual nurture. You will receive letters periodically from the child you sponsor.

4. Send your financial gifts for the building. We are praying and planning to build a huge CHILDREN'S HOME, which can accommodate 150 children.

WIDOWS HOME

Recently in 1999, we conducted a survey in East Godavari District where we have found that there are more number of widows and old aged. Hence we have started a home of the aged widow, for those who were in a very pathetic economic condition. All the facilities like nutritious food, medical checkup are provided. We train these aged poor widow women with hand making embroidery, tailoring, stitching and many more talents. So that they can incur their income for themselves without depending upon the society.

CHURCH PLANTING

Church planting is the heart beat of Loving Hands Ministries. At present, we are encouraging our missionaries in the villages to plant new churches by providing them monthly financial assistance.

When a missionary is sent to a new village for planting a church. He needs to be supported every month, even after he establishes a church. Some of our missionaries work in villages without electricity, transport or even with basic need like good drinking water. Most of our missionaries dwell in small rented houses or huts. These faithful missionaries face numerous problems, where there are seldom Christian families to support them or to encourage them.

The basic living cost for a missionary family per month is Rs. 2500/- (50 Dollars). In addition, Loving hands provides the missionaries with bicycles, public address systems, Bibles and Gospel literature enabling them to do effective evangelism and plant churches.

Church Building:An important aspect of Church planting is to help the missionaries and the villagers to worship the Lord with freedom. The believers in the Indian village churches are mainly poor downtrodden people, who work as laborers and farmers. They cannot financially support the church construction work. They gather in the houses rented by missionaries or under big trees or in some cases, under a thatched roof to worship the Lord. Financial assistance is required for erecting simple prayer halls for the purpose of Sunday worship, weekly meetings and Sunday school. A simple construction would be about 50 ft., long and 15 ft., wide. This construction is estimated to cost about $2000/- to $5000/-.

As part of our church planting efforts when ever possible, we extend to give the Pastors to build worship places for the believers. At present, our support goes to churches in the many major districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Loving Hands Theological Seminary (Emanuel Bible College):In order to establish the churches in remote and tribal areas, lot of bible students & pastors, with a burden for lord's harvest are required. For which, LOVING HANDS MINISTRIES is imparting all its efforts to train missionaries for the harvest. Hundreds of students have graduated from our bible college and Seminary. All of the graduates are now serving in Ministry mightily. Others can be trained for $35 per month per student.

EDUCATIONAL INSTIUTIONS:

L.H.C.M.C School: Due to lack of poverty, many parents are not able to give proper education to their children which is resulting in a high percentage of illiteracy rate in the nation. So, a school was established at Rayudupalem Village, Kakinada with a cause to improve and develop the education for the poorest of poor people and children in the rural, trial areas. It has been recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Loving Hands School caters to the needs of the children in grades K through seven. The daily curriculum includes devotions and instructions is Christian morals. The rural poor children are growing from strength to strength. The total number of the students are mightily increasing from year to year with a very good increase of percentage in number. The enrolment averages 125 poor, rural and tribal students in every fresh year. We are providing free education at our Loving Hands School. Recreation is provided after the school like Games & Sports, which makes the student to grow in the literacy rate, mental and physical personalities.
Adult Education Programme:The adult education centers are started in many tribal and poor villages like (1) Penumarthy Village (2) Thammavaram Village (3) Atchutapuram Village (4) Thimmapuram Village (5) Suryaraopeta Village. These centers have educated 500 women and men every year. This programme has achieved 100% successful result and the local leaders and enthusiastic women & men are co-operating with us in a great ways. In this programme, we teach reading, writing, cleanliness, savings and environmental habits to the Adult students. Most of the students in this Adult Education Programme, are women in more members. This is as we believe that if a women is educated in the family, whole family will indirectly be educated. We are also planning to spread this programme in many more remote villages annually.

INCOME GENERATING PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN

This programme helps the poor women to earn their daily livelihood. In each single batch 50 women are attending every year. As there are many more poor women are waiting to joint in the programme, we are planning to increase the batch from 50 to 150 in the upcoming days. This programme contains tailoring, embroidery, painting, glass painting, ornaments and jewelry designing, sculpture, poultry farms, interior designing and many more. Not only training but, we are also exploring the awareness of collecting the course finished, trained women into different groups and guiding them to get contracts from Government, so that the women can achieve better earning capacity in their mire future.

YOUTH MINISTRIES

We see the hurting youth of this generation, NOT as the majority of society views themselves hopeless bums, jailbirds, hoodlums. Instead, we see them as God sees them -- people with potential who will help spread His love, good news and hope to the succeeding generations. We see them restored as a new creation (II Cor 5:17) who will bring glory to God !
The young are attracted towards a lot of destructive distractions. But if the right counsel is given and if they are directed in the right path, they are a bundle of energy doing good things. Here the Loving Hands Ministries (Jr. Mera ) plays a vital role by imparting Godly counsel encouragement and faith to the forlorn youth and directs them to prosperity and eternal joy. Jr.Mera stands as a living witness for the Lord Almighty and he is striving hard in preparing the youth for a better tomorrow.
